CREATIVE IMMIGRANTS
One of the great aspects of working as an Immigration Lawyer is the opportunity I have to meet people who are doing exciting and interesting things. Many of the are in one of a number of technical fields. Others are working to better society. Others are creative types. In this section I'll be introducing some of my clients so you can meet some of these people too. At the same time, there is a lot of underutilized talent -- immigrants with great education and experience, who can't get jobs which allow them to use their skills. I recommend Upwardly Global, a nonprofit organization that helps highly qualified immigrants - with work authorization only -- to improve their résumés, sharpen their interviewing skills and develop contacts.
